Day 1Hong Kong Arrival

Welcome to Hong Kong! After retrieving your luggage, you will find your local guide waiting for you in the Arrival Hall of the airport, together with a sign (your name on it). When you have know each other very well, you will be taken to the hotel in a comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle and your guide will help you with the check-in, now is the time for you to get a cozy rest and get prepare for this ten-day wonderful trip.

 

Day 2Hong Kong

Attractions: Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Stanley Market
Meal: Not Included
Hotel: Overnight in Hong Kon

Today’s half-day tour of Hong Kong starts at the Victoria Peak. The tram will take you to the highest peak in Hong Kong, which has been in operation for over 100 years or more, it is one of the oldest cable cars in the world. You can also climb the observation deck for a panoramic view of Hong Kong and take some fancy pictures for memory.

Then go to Repulse Bay. Repulse Bay is known as the “Hawaii of the East”. After relaxing in Repulse Bay, head to Stanley Market. Browse fine little items in a variety of small shops, it’s a great place to get away from the crowds and enjoy some time alone. After the tour, transfer back you your hotel. The rest of today is free for you, and you can make your own arrangements.

Day 3Hong Kong - Guilin

Today, your guide will lead you to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and board the bullet train to Guilin. (Transfer note: There’s only one direct high-speed train from Hong Kong to Guilin, only at around 12 noon. If the train does not match your itinerary, you can take a train to Guangzhou South Railway Station or Shenzhen North Railway Station and then transfer to a bullet train to Guilin.

The tour guide will adjust your itinerary and you can tell him your plans. There is also a daily flight from Hong Kong International Airport to Guilin, but tickets often sell out quickly and prices are quite high.)
Upon arrival in Guilin, you will be met by your local guide and driver and transferred to your hotel. You can arrange the rest of the day by yourself.

Day 4Guilin

Attractions: Li River, Yangshuo Town, West Street

The back of the 20 yuan RMB is printed with the scenery of Guilin, which shows how beautiful and charming it is. Today, you will flow downstream from Mopanshan Pier to Yangshuo Town, where you will enjoy the clear Li River and various mountain peaks. After about 4 hours of travel,  you will find yourself at the fairyland on earth the ship will stop in Yangshuo Town and take you to a hotel afterwards. After taking a break, start your rural leisure trip on the Yulong River. Fresh air and beautiful mountains and rivers will definitely give you the greatest relaxation. There are various ways to choose from, including cycling, hiking, sightseeing buses, bamboo rafts, and scooters. You can choose according to the requirements. Tonight, you can take a walk on the ancient West Street, witnessing the collision between Western and Chinese cultures.

Day 5Guilin-Xi'an

Attractions: Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave

Our first destination today is a symbol of Guilin’s scenery——Elephant Trunk Mountain. the name come from its shape.Because this huge stone looks like an elephant drinking water. Beside that, there are also various historical sites waiting for you to explore. Then, drive about 7 kilometers to the next scenic spot – Reed Flute Cave, which is a magnificent underground palace with different colors and a large number of stalactites, stalagmites and rocks of various shapes.All of this are naturally formed. Here you will feel the subtleties of nature. Finally, your guide will take you to the airport to Xi’an. After arriving in Xi’an, a tour guide will also greet you and take you to the hotel.

Day 6Xi’an

Attractions: Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Ancient City Wall, Muslim Quarter

Hotel: Overnight in Xi’an

Today our guide and drivers will pick you up at your hotel lobby at the agreed time. Our first stop today is the Terracotta Warriors and Horses, it is the historical heritage of Chinese culture, complete with combat units protecting their builder, Qin Shi Huang. Standing in front of these statues, one must be amazed at the craftsmanship of ancient Chinese craftsmen. After lunch, return to Xi ‘an and enjoy panoramic views of modern Xi ‘an while walking on the Ancient City Wall which is one of China’s largest and best preserved walls. After visiting the city walls, you’ll be transported to the bustling Muslim Quarter, where you can sample local snacks you’ve never seen before and explore Muslim culture. Xi’an boast a great reputation for its wheated food, do not hesitate to give it a try.

Day 7Xi'an

Attractions: Da Cien Temple, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi History Museum

Hotel: Overnight in Beijing

After breakfast, the first destination is Da Cien Temple. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is the most famous structure in the temple. The tower, 64.5 meters high, was built by the famous Buddhist master Xuanzang. If you have read Journey to the West, Xuan Zang is the prototype of the Tang monk in the book. (Note: If you want to climb the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the ticket will charge you $30.)

Next, we’ll go to Shaanxi History Museum, where you can stroll through the modern exhibition halls while appreciating historical relics from various dynasties. (Note: Due to crowded tourists from July to early September and from October 1 to October 7, Shaanxi History Museum may change other activities or attractions. You can check with your travel consultant for details before booking.)The rest of the day is free, you are free to make arrangements until we take you to the airport for Beijing.

Upon arrival in Beijing, you will also be met by a guide who will take you to your hotel for check in, after that you can have a great rest.

Day 8Beijing

Attractions: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace

After breakfast, visit Tian anmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Walking into Tiananmen Square, you will see one of the five palaces in the world — the Forbidden City, which is a huge palace complex of more than 9,000 rooms where 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties lived.

After a midday break, drive to the outskirts of Beijing and enjoy a visual feast at the Summer Palace, the largest and best preserved imperial garden in China. Take a walk among the ancient buildings, enjoy the blooming lotus flowers in Kunming Lake and the painted corridors and spend pleasant time here.

Day 9Beijing

Attractions: Mutianyu Great Wall, Ding Tomb, Bird’s Nest, Water Cube

Hotel: Overnight in Beijing

After breakfast, head to Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a relatively well-preserved and less visited section of the Ming Wall. You’ll take a cable car to the Great Wall, then stroll around the best parts of Mutianyu and marvel at the amazing wisdom of the ancient people. (Note: If energy permits, walk up and down. It takes about 40 minutes to climb the steps. Please tell your travel consultant what you like.

After a short rest to the Ming emperor’s mausoleum – Ding Tomb. Your guide will introduce the feng shui of the mausoleum and take you to the underground palace for a closer look. Then drive back to Beijing and stop at the Olympic Village to admire the famous Bird’s Nest and Water Cube from the outside and for you to take some pictures asyou like.

Day 10Beijing- Departure

Attractions: Temple of Heaven, Hutongs

The first destination is the Temple of Heaven. A place where rituals were held during the Ming and Qing dynasties. In ancient China, rituals were an important activity where rulers would pray for peace and health for the people and a suitable climate for the country. it has now become a place for local people to hold traditional activities and entertainment, such as tai chi, dancing, kite flying, water calligraphy and so on, these activities are called by Chinese people as self-cultivation. Then, back in
the city center, take a time-filled rickshaw ride to Beijing’s Hutongs, alleys of varying widths made up of courtyard homes. Walk through the different hutongs, feel the charm of Beijing’s traditional architecture and historical changes, and visit the old Beijingers who live in the hutongs. Your China tour is now coming to an end. We’ll drive you to the airport to catch your flight to your next destination or back home, we wish you a great rest and lifetime last memory.
