Day 1Shanghai Arrival

Welcome to Shanghai! After retrieving your luggage.Our guide will wait at the airport, holding a sign with your name on it. After a warm greeting, you will be taken to the hotel we have booked for you, which have prefect infrastructure.The rest of the day is at your disposal, you can take a warm rest or explore this city on your own.

 

Day 2Shanghai

Attractions: the Bund, Yu Garden, Fuxing Park, Bugaoli, Shanghai Tower

Start your exploration from the Bund, a well-known waterfront promenade on the west bank of Huangpu River, to admire century-old buildings in various architectural styles. Visit the Yu Garden later, followed by a stop at a silk workshop.

Afterward, stroll from Fuxing Park to Bugaoli for about an hour to experience local’s life. You will see how inhabitants pass their free time, discover traditional Shanghai dwellings, and sample some famous dim sum at a food market. End the day with a stunning panoramic view of the city from the Shanghai Tower Observation Deck. Have a bird view of Shanghai.

 

 

 

Day 3Shanghai-Chengdu

Have some free time before the transfer to the airport for the flight to Chengdu. Get picked up and taken to your hotel after you arrive.

Day 4Chengdu

Attractions: Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Wenshu Temple, Jinli Old Street

Spend the morning at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, home to nearly 120 pandas of various ages, from tiny newborns to adults. You can watch them play, eat, and climb trees with lots of energy.

The Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center was built to mimic the natural habitat of giant pandas in the hope that they would live comfortably according to their own habits. They live because they are surrounded by plenty of space and a suitable environment. They are so cute that every day, Chinese and foreign tourists are willing to travel thousands of miles to see them.

Enjoy the Buddhist architecture and culture of Wenshu Temple in the afternoon, then unwind with a cup of Chinese tea at a teahouse. Finally, go around Jinli Old Street to experience Sichuan customs, folk arts, and daily life in Chengdu.

Day 5Chengdu - Lhasa

Have some free time before the transfer to the airport for the flight to Lhasa. Our guide and driver will picked you up and escort you to the hotel we have booked for you.The rest of the day is at your disposal, you can have a great rest or explore Lhasa on your own.

 

Day 6Lhasa

Attractions: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street

Check out the overwhelming Potala Palace first. You’ll be in awe of the religious architecture and splendid artworks, especially murals and exquisite Tangkas, inside the palace complex.
In the afternoon, visit the Jokhang Temple, the most sacred temple in the heart of the Tibetans. Don’t miss Barkhor Street around the temple, where you may find devout Tibetans.

Day 7Lhasa

Attractions: Norbulingka, historic Drepung Menastery, Sera Monastery

Begin the day at Norbulingka, a classic Tibetan garden that once served as the Summer Palace of Dalai Lamas. Visit the historic Drepung Monastery later, which was the largest monastery in Tibet and once housed around 7,700 monks at its peak.

Visit the Sera Monastery in the afternoon to experience the unique Buddhism scripture debating culture. Lamas in red robes debate all aspects of Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 8Lhasa - Xi’an

Fly to Xi’an in the afternoon. Take a private transfer to your hotel for check-in after arrival.

Day 9Xi'an

The highlight of today’s journey is the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors. Appreciate the massive array of thousands of life-size clay soldiers, horses, and chariots, and see how powerful the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang.Wandering around three pit to feel the marvolous mirical that ancient people have done.

Day 10Xi’an - Beijing

Visit Tang Bo Art Museum this morning to enjoy Shaanxi folk arts and ancient Chinese paintings. 
After the tour, head to the railway station to board your high-speed train to Beijing. On arrival, be picked up and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Day 11Beijing

Attractions: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Hutongs

A full day sightseeing begin with the Tian’anmen Square. Facing the square is the well-known Forbidden City. Your guide will take you to explore the three main halls and palaces and introduce you to their used purposes and the stories behind them.

After that, explore local Hutongs, where narrow paths are lined with lots of courtyard homes, to observe the daily life of ordinary Beijing citizens.

Day 12Beijing

Attractions: Temple of Heaven, Mutianyu Great Wall

After breakfast, you will tour the Temple of Heaven,where the ancient emperors worshipped the heavens and prayed for a good harvest and prosperity for the country,this is now a lively place where locals participate in traditional activities such as tai chi, dancing, kite flying, and water calligraphy.

After that, drive about two hours to visit the magnificent Mutianyu Great Wall. With round-way cable cars, you can easily reach the watchtower and have more time to explore further. Walking on the venerable ramparts, you may be overwhelmed by the unbelievable constructions and picturesque surroundings.
