Day 1Zhangjiajie Arrival - Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park
This is the first highlight of Zhangjiajie, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, with a spectacular sandstone peak forest landform composed of more than 3,000 stone pillars of different shapes and sizes, known as the “enlarged bonsai, reduced bazaar”.
Bailong Elevator
The world’s highest outdoor elevator (326 meters) helps visitors reach the summit in 1 meter 28 seconds.
Yuanjiajie
Yuanjiajie, the main setting for the film Avatar, is home to hundreds of original “floating Avatar Mountains”. (The main one is called “Hallelujah Mountain” and the view is really impressive, like outer space. No wonder it was named the most famous highlight area in the park. The pillars here are bigger than the others.
Tianzi Mountain
Tianzi means “Heavenly Prince”. In fact, he is a real figure who led the local ethnic groups to fight against the government army during the Ming Dynasty 500 years ago… The Tianzi region is a very old battlefield. Most of the attractions there are combined with the historical stories and legends of this venerable man. In addition to these, at the top of Tianzi Mountain, we can visually experience the most spectacular sandstone peak forest landscape in the park, characterized by its sharp and slender shape. It is a highlight of Zhangjiajie Scenic area.

Day 2Wulingyuan - Fenghuang

Golden Whip Stream
Golden Whip Stream is regarded as the 1 of the most beautiful Streams in China. It’s 6 km long with a well-paved flat walkway at the bottom of a canyon. A tour from a lower perspective will give you a different view of Avatar from the top. And it’s actually closer to nature: You will find hundreds of different-shaped sandstone peaks erecting by the crystal-clear stream,attached with plenty of interesting legends and stories given from locals.the other exciting part is,we may see a lot of cute monkeys on the way. 2-3 hours easy walk with the fresh air, you will definitely have a strong feeling that you are walking into the pure nature. Not more memory from busy and annoying city life.
Fenghuang Ancient Town
“Fenghuang is 1 of 2 most beautiful ancient town of China” praised by the writer Rewi Alley of New Zealand 70 years ago, now it has been added in the top 10 China’s ancient town list. Fenghuang assembles the multiple features of the typical water town with gorgeous nature, the mysterious minority culture of Miao and the long history of their dramatic stories, and relics of past war time of Western Hunan,More incredibly, Fenghuang is also a mutual birthplace of a great number of masters and celebrities in many working fields.For eye to appreciate, Fenghuang is highlighted by a row of beautiful riverside stilt wooden houses paralleling with old wall.The magnificent night scene is also the reason to keep us longer there for one or more overnight stays. Impressive Place.

Day 3Fenghuang - Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park
Tianmen Mountain, in the image of “New Legend Of Zhangjiajie”. It’s the highest spot (1500m) in Zhangjiajie, where you can walk on super-exciting cliff-path and glass walkway and see the whole city and beautiful countryside with bird’s view. The landscape is completely different from the Zhangjiajie National Park, but on the same level. Both are world-class sights, so it’s a must-see in the city, and what could be more incredible? Despite its small size, this mountain holds four Guinness World Records. Any one of them would impress any type of person. It’s the most amazing experience you’ve ever had.
Tujia Customs Park
Tujia Minority Folk Park used to be the Palace for the King of Tujia. It’s a nice place to know the local people in old times. The architectures inside are something particularly fabulous. The main attraction is the world highest stilt wooden house called “Nine layered Sky”. Now it’s a museum of Tujia Minority, a Great place to know some cultural part of Zhangjiajie.
Zhangjiajie Junsheng Painting Institute
It is a place that will dazzle you. Through the 40-minute tour, we can enjoy a unique type of art called sandstone painting, which was invented by a very talented and creative local painter “Li Junsheng”, who is really an honorable man with stories and artistic beliefs. Most of his works are about the landscape, people and culture of his hometown. (Zhangjiajie and western Hunan). So at the end of the trip, visiting this gallery can be a good summary of the trip we’ve had. We can learn about the places you’ve been through this fantastic local art.
