Overview:

This 4-day Guizhou tour will help you explore the best part of Guizhou. The world-famous Huangguoshu Water Fall and the minority groups in Guizhou are also included.

You will step into Langde Miao Village, Shiqiao Miao Village, and Matang Village for an in-depth experience of ethnic culture and life, wander along the alleys of Qinyan Ancient Town to observe the traditional architecture. The Huangguoshu Water Fall is confident to shock you with its marvelous natural landscapes.

Day 1Guiyang Arrival - Kaili

Attractions: Langde Miao Village

Accommodation: Overnight in Kaili

Take an early morning flight to Guiyang Airport. Upon arrival, our local driver will pick you up on time by holding a board with your name on.

Then a 3-hour drive will take you to Kaili. Visit the Langde Miao Village, home of the Long Skirt Miao people (an ancient tribe of the Miao ethnic group). Holding many wooden buildings dating back from 1616 to 1911, the village is a live museum of Miao Culture.

After tour, transfer to your hotel in Kaili.

Day 2Kaili - Guiyang

Attractions: Shiqiao Miao Village, Matang Village, Batik

Accommodation: Overnight in Guiyang

Start today with a leisurely walk in Shiqiao Miao Village. The village is famous for the traditional paper-making process dating back to the Tang Dynasty. You will have the opportunity to see how craftsmen make paper with local natural plants.

Then, spend your time in Matang Village. It is home to Gejia people who are not listed as 55 minority groups in China. People here are good at traditional Gejia batik. If you like, you can get a chance to learn the technology of batik with a skillful craftsman. (Optional)

Go back to your hotel in Guiyang after a whole day’s trip.

Day 3Guiyang - Huangguoshu

Attractions: Huangguoshu Waterfall National Park, Tianxingqiao Scenic Area

Accommodation: Overnight in Guiyang

After breakfast, drive 2.5 hours to Anshun to embark on a nature adventure at Huangguoshu Waterfall National Park, home to Huangguoshu Waterfall and 18 other waterfalls of various sizes. If you like to walk through nature and enjoy a lush and roaring waterfall, never miss Huangguoshu Waterfall National Park when you travel to Guizhou.

Another main scenic you can expect is the Tianxingqiao Scenic Area: 6 km away from the downstream of Huangguoshu Water Fall. In contrast to the grand and magnificent Huangguoshu Waterfall, Tianxingqiao is mysterious and exquisite, scattered with weird limestone formations, caves, waterfalls, lakes, lush trees, and Tianxing Qiao(Bridge)

After the visit, your guide and driver will escort you back to the hotel in Guiyang.

Day 4Guiyang Departure

In the morning, we will visit Qingyan Ancient Town, 30 km away from downtown Guiyang. The town, over 600 years old, was a key military fortress and trade hub and is now a cultural center with antique monasteries, temples, caves, courtyards, palaces, stone-paved streets, and lanes.

Free and easy on your own before the confirmed pick-up time. Our driver will take you to the airport for your departure.
