Day 1Shanghai Arrival

Welcome to Shanghai! After retrieving your luggage.Our guide will wait at the airport, holding a sign with your name on it. After a warm greeting, you will be taken to the hotel we have booked for you, which have prefect infrastructure.The rest of the day is at your disposal, you can take a warm rest or explore this city on your own.

 

Day 2Shanghai

Attractions:People’s Square, Shanghai Museum, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, The Bund, Nanjing Road, French Concession, Tianzifang

A full day sightseeing begins with the Shanghai Museum, a selection of over 112,000 relics of Chinese culture from the Paleolithic to modern times ,where you will experience the richness of Chinese culture. We will then take a fun walk in the charming Former French Concession. 

Then move to Yu Garden, a Chinese classic garden in city downtown before the visit to Shanghai World Financial Center. Afterwards, you can then wonder leisurely stroll along Nanjing Road, the No.1 shopping street in Shanghai. You will stroll along the Bund, seeing and feeling the perfect fusion of Chinese and Western cultures. Tonight you can take a relaxing Huangpu River night as an optional activity.

 

 

 

Day 3Shanghai-Xi'an

Attractions: Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center, Jade Buddha Temple

This morning’s tour to Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center will give you an overview of the City’s ambitious plans for future. The Center is a fashionably designed modern museum, themed with “City, Citizens, Environment and Development”. Next is a wonderful visit to Jade Buddha Temple, the site of the largest jade Buddha in the world and numerous religious artifacts, ancient statues and Buddhist scriptures.

Day 4Xi'an

Attractions: the Terracotta Warriors, Ancient City Wall, Muslim Quarter, Great Mosque of Xi’an

Today you’ll discover one of the greatest man-made wonders in the world – the Terracotta Warriors, built by the first emperor of China Qin Shihuang to protect him in his afterlife. Then you’ll take a wonderful stroll on the Ancient City Wall, the largest and best-preserved ancient city wall in China. Then wander leisurely around bustling and hustling Muslim Quarter, a place where you can try different local snacks and explore Muslim culture. Don’t miss the Great Mosque of Xi’an which is a fusion of Chinese culture and Islamic culture.

Day 5Xi'an-Luoyang

Attractions: Da Cien Temple, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi History Museum

Today you will head to Da Cien Temple, a famous Buddhist sutra translation site during the Tang Dynasty. Big Wild Goose Pagoda is the most famous building in the temple. You can visit it. Next is an educational visit to the Shaanxi History Museum where you can ramble in the modern exhibition halls to appreciate historic relics such as porcelains, paintings, and currencies dating from the Zhou to the Tang dynastic periods.

Day 5Luoyang - Dengfeng - Luoyang

Attractions: Shaolin Temple

Today, you will be driven 54km to Shaolin Temple, the birthplace of Zen Buddhism and the cradle of Kung Fu. Traditional Chinese martial arts dramas are always filmed in the Shaolin Temple. You will visit the grandiose temples and halls, admire stone carving art, learn about Buddhism culture, observe the daily living and meditation of monks in the temple. Don’t miss the famous Pagoda Forest, the existing largest pagoda forest in China. Then continue your visit to enjoy a magnificent free Kung Fu Show in the Shaolin Wushu Hall. In order to enjoy more about Kung Fu, you have about 2 hours Kung Fu training in Shaolin Temple. After that, drive back to Luoyang City for accommodation.

Day 7Luoyang-Departure

Attractions: White Horse Temple, Longmen Grottoes

Visit to White Horse Temple established in AD 68 of Eastern Han dynasty which is the first Buddhist temple in China with over 1900 years history. Since then, it spread the Buddhism throughout of China and regard as the cradle of Chinese Buddhism. Later, proceed to visit Longmen Grottoes. Densely scattered along the cliffs on both banks of Yi River, the UNESCO World Heritage Site Longmen Grottoes contain the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese art of the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316-907). After the sightseeing, you will be escorted to the airport or railway station to take a flight or train to your next destination or home. Trip ends!
