And then, an exterior tour to the National Grand Theater of China. Walk through the square and visit today’s highlight: Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Hike to Jingshan Park, where gives a nice panoramic view of the Forbidden City at the top of Coal Hill.
Lunch time at Shi Yuan Restaurant, offering the local Chinese food, famous for the braised eggplant, vegetable ball, and diced chicken with walnuts in soya sauce. After about 1.5 hours driving, we will firstly arrive to the Donghai Bridge – the first sea-crossing bridge in the China. Keep driving for about 30 minutes, then get to the highlight of this day – Yangshan Deep-water Port. From now, we will have a short hiking trip in the Yangshan scenic area including Shilong Part, Dazhitou Part, and Xiaoyanjiao Part. With about 1 hour sightseeing, get to the peak of the hill in the scenic area and have a grand view of the Donghai Bridge and Yangshan Deep-water Port.
