Itinerary

Day 1Taipei

Your trip starts with a pickup at your Taipei downtown hotel. Then count on our comfortable vehicle with licensed driver who will help you with your luggage and take you to visit the Chiang Kai-Shek Shilin Residence Park. You will be amazed of what inside and outside of this park. The Chinese inner garden has a stream under an artificial bridge, a rock garden, grotesque rocks and a red Chinese pavilion, while the European Outer Garden is the theme of the annual Chrysanthemum Show.

Then head to the National Palace Museum where is designed in a style similar to a palace in northern China. With a collection of hundreds of thousands of historical relics, the museum is the most comprehensive and precious collection of ancient Chinese cultural relics in the world. The collection covers more than 5,000 years of Chinese history and artistic achievements.

After lunch, head to visit the National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall is designed primarily for Chinese gardens. The windows are classical and elegant, and the buildings are decorated in blue and white, symbolizing freedom and equality. The first floor is dominated by an exhibition and screening room showing Chiang Kai-shek’s life and clothes, as well as a bronze statue.

Then, continue your trip to visit National Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall. Dr.Sun Yat-sen is often referred to as the father of Taiwan, or, more commonly, the father of Taiwan. The museum was originally intended to house artifacts and objects from Sun Yat-sen’s political and personal life.

Our final stop will be the the super-tall skyscraper Taibei 101, once the tallest building in the world. Visitors to 101 often comment on the blue-green Tint and shape of the building, which resembles Taiwan’s native bamboo. This is not an accidental design, the whole building pays homage to Taiwan and the local Chinese culture.

Then, drive you back to your hotel.
