    Day 1Lijiang Arrival

    Attractions: Lijiang Old Town, Baisha Murals, Yuhu Village, Shuhe Old Town
    Meal: Not Included
    Hotel: Overnight in Shuhe Old Town

    Get lost in the fascinating maze of cobblestone streets lined with souvenir shops, cafes, restaurants, bars, and guesthouses that make up Shuhe Old Town – a much more authentic and less crowded alternative to Lijiang. 

    You may spend the rest of the day exploring the ancient town or join us for a bike ride to the nearby ancient villages of Baisha and Yuhu with a fantastic backdrop of the Jade Dragon Mountain  (30 km roundtrip, or only go as far as Baisha: 10 km roundtrip)  

    Day 2Lijiang - Tiger Leaping Gorge

    Attractions: Hiking in Tiger Leaping Gorge

    Hotel: Overnight in Guesthouse

    Our first stop will be a viewpoint by the Jinsha River and later we will be dropped off at the trail head and start our hike. It’s about a 2.5-hour walk to reach the lunch place, the initial 1 hour is uphill until reaching a worthy viewpoint and the remaining part is downhill or flat. From the lunch place, we have another 1 hour 30 min to the Halfway Lodge, our endpoint for the day. 

    Day 3Lijiang Departure

    Attractions: Tiger Leaping Gorge,  Lijiang Old Town
    Meal: Not included
    Hotel: No

    Depart from the Half-Way Lodge after breakfast, hike down to Tina’s Guesthouse for lunch.

    On the way to the airport, stopover in Lijiang Old Town for a musical performance from the Naxi minority. Free time to explore independently and grab dinner after the performance.
