Day 1Guilin

Hotel: Overnight in Guilin

After arriving at Guilin Airport, the local driver will pick you up from the entrance and exit with a welcome sign with your name written on it, and then go to the local hotel for check-in.

Explore Guilin at your own pace. You can take a leisurely stroll in the urban water system—two rivers and four lakes, and enjoy the charming night view.

Day 2Guilin - Longsheng - Guilin

Attractions: Longji Rice Terrace, Huangluo Yao Village

After breakfast, drive to the picturesque Longji Rice Terraces with a thousand-year history. It is hard to believe that more than 2,000 years ago, ethnic minorities were able to cultivate deep mountains through slash-and-burn cultivation. Now, the terraces provide not only food for the locals, but also a place for people around the world to get away from their daily lives.

There are several Zhuang and Yao characteristic villages along the way, and you will visit the special Huangluo Yao Village, where you can enjoy the one-of-a-kind long hair performance performed by Yao women, which was awarded as “the longest hair in the world” Hair Village”. You can’t imagine that Huang Luo’s woman only had her hair cut once at the age of 18!

After that, you will start to visit the stunning Longji Rice Terraces. If hiking is too much for you, take the round-trip cable car (optional).

After the walk, return to the hotel in Guilin.

Day 3Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin

Today is the highlight of your trip to Guilin, where you will take a boat ride on the picturesque Li River!

Taking a cruise on the Li River, you will appreciate the picturesque scenery of this land, where green mountains, rivers, lakes and fields are harmoniously combined. But its beauty is not like a still painting, it is alive when it is alive – brisk bamboo rafts wrinkle the water, cormorants circling beneath working fishermen… Our guides will help you on your voyage Uncover the hidden history and culture behind natural screens. You’ll learn from local experts how the city came to be and developed, and how the locals manage life along the famous Li River.

After the 4-hour cruise, you will disembark in Yangshuo. Explore the famous Yangshuo West Street with your guide, admire ancient buildings and local handicrafts, hang out in bars and coffee shops, and sample delicious local snacks.

Finally, drive back to Guilin for the night.

Day 4Guilin

Attractions: Reed Flute Cave, Elephant Trunk Hill

Guilin is famous for its picturesque scenery and characteristic culture. Today, your exploration will begin with the stunning Reed Flute Cave. The entrance of the cave is named after the reeds at the entrance of the cave, people can play the flute with the reeds. Stepping into the cave, you will be surrounded by various stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars, flowers and plants and curtains formed by water erosion and carbonate deposition day after day and year after year.

After that, head to Elephant Trunk Hill. The hill gets its name from the shape of an elephant sipping water by the river. You will see a circular opening between the trunk and the legs of the elephant, it has a beautiful name Shuiyuedong. In this extraordinary place, you can take beautiful photos and document a good time.

The 4-day Guilin experience tour will end today. Your guide and driver will see you off at the airport/train station.
